Tent Talks with Dr Stephen Backhouse

Chris Marchand, guest of the century

Episode Summary

We celebrate episode 100 with Chris Marchand, musician, priest, author, teacher and podcast producer! Because he works on the frontlines of religion, culture and education, Chris brings a much-needed perspective to the show. Amongst other things, Chris has just released an album of songs inspired by - and appearing in - Tent Talks.

Episode Notes

Chris Marchand is an Anglican priest and church music leader from Peoria, Illinois in the USA. He also teaches history and literature classes at Schole Academy, an online Classical Christian school. He has just released Gentle Spacemakers an album of the music he's written for the Tent Talks podcast (which also includes the theme song for The Hyphen, Stephen's other podcast). You can stream or download the album on Bandcamp or wherever you stream music.

Chris has two other podcasts, Postconsumer Reports about art and faith, and Between the Songs about the music of Rich Mullins. Finally, if you want to go back to where it all started, here is Chris's original interview with Stephen about his biography of Soren Kierkegaard.

Chris has written the book Celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas, which you can find here, or wherever you buy books.
